Prairie Lee Lake is a 150-acre lake located in Lee's Summit, MO. It's near other areas lakes such as Lake Jacomo and Lake Lotawana as well as Lee's Summit Community Center, Legacy Park. Prairie Lee Lake has been around since 1939 and offers a great spot for lake home residents to enjoy lake living and water sports. Owned and maintained by Jackson County Parks & Recreation, Prairie Lee Lake offers Lee's Summit residents a lake experience without travel nor hassle.
Our residents enjoy many luxuries of living on the lake. Residents in our single-family homes for sale and villas especially enjoy the private feel of Prairie Lee Lake, yet the close proximity to Lee's Summit.
Water sport enthusiasts enjoy the jet skiing and water skiing on the lake. Woodland Shores residents especially enjoy the close docks and assesibility to the lake for their favorite water sports. Personal watercraft is allowed except on weekends and holidays; and all watercraft must be regisered with Jackson County. Our first tier residents will not be charged a registration fee for personal watercraft.
As Woodland Shores residents, our first tier homes are offered the opportunity to have a private dock for their residence. Docking specifications are available at the Woodland Shores sales office. For residents in our other luxury lots and villas, Woodland Shores offers a community dock available for swimming and fishing, along with a picnic facility.
Boating and canoeing are allowed on Prairie Lee Lake with a boat permit. Boats must Less than 30 ft. craft and have a horsepower limit of 190 Outboard / 165 Inboard. Canoes are also allowed, with a boating permit from Jackson County.
Prairie Lee Lake is a great spot for fishing in Missouri. There is a good population of bass, catfish, and crappie. There's also a fair population of white bass and sunfish. As a Woodland Shores resident, you'll enjoy the convenience of walking out your front door ... or down your back yard ... to unwind from the day and fish in the lake.
A community marina is located on the southwest corner of the subdivision at Woodland Shores. We also offer a community docking station, as well as a dock for swmming and fishing. Lake home residents also enjoy a picnic facility and many other lake property amenities.
